The power is back on!!!

Friday's swimming will get underway this evening with warm-ups beginning at 5:30. We will swim a combined 11-12, & 10 and under timed finals session. All of Friday's relays will take place on Saturday. The 11-12 200 medley relays will go off before the 500's in the prelim session and the 10 and under medley relays will be the last event of the session.

No Power at the UVAC

No power at the pool this morning has put us into wait and see mode for 12 and under age group championships. At this time we will wait until 11:30am to see if we can run the 10 and under session and the 11-12 morning events will kick off at 5:30 tonite as timed finals!
We were all silly to think that thunderstorms would be the only reason we would ever have to clear the pool!

USA Swimming Diversity Camp

Hello,

I'm forwarding this link along encouraging all who may have swimmers that meet the criteria to take advantage of this amazing opportunity. Click on the link provided below and please share with your swimmers. It would be wonderful to have representatives from New England's - LSC. In addition, it would be helpful to other swimmers to hear the experience and have role models for future opportunities. If you have additional questions or concerns please do not hesitate to give me a call. http://www.usaswimming.org/usasweb/DesktopDefault.aspx?TabId=236&Alias=Rainbow&Lang=en
Applications are due by March 1st, perhaps your swimmer can utilize their school vacation time to submit an application. USA Swimming covers most of the expenses.
STAY TUNED - For future opportunities to support the inclusion efforts of Diversity Outreach in our New England Swimming LSC.

Thank you

Another opportunity for New England Swimmers

MAG FUNDRAISER @ REGIONALS: COINS FOR HAITI

All proceeds will go to the: American Red Cross, International Disaster Relief Fund – Haiti

Check between your car seats or your coat pockets and turn your loose change to a greater cause!

***During our upcoming New England Regionals Meet, we will have a "COINS for Haiti" donation drive. Proceeds will go to American Red Cross, International Disaster Relief Fund – Haiti. Please advise all attendees to be on the lookout for a "Donation Jar" near the admissions table. It's a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate the generosity of the swimming community and show how small change can add up to something greater. So bring any loose change and let's see how giving our community can be! Thanks everyone for your support. Magnus Aquatic Group ****
